Political Street Art: The Thomas Jefferson Edition

Well, this certainly was an odd surprise today since my neighborhood isn't exactly known as Tea Party central.

Street art quoting Thomas Jefferson in the blame-America-first, Leftist hipster zone that is Williamsburg, Brooklyn?

Now I've seen everything.

Either there's another conservative that is also an artist living here in Obama County--the chances of which are fatally slim,
or quoting our founding fathers is now 'hip.'

Then, too, it may have been stenciled by an American, calling to the human spirit on the left and the right, by clearly enunciating the PRINCIPLES upon which our republic was founded... principles so openly and regularly debased, ignored or corrupted in this day...
