May Day Union Square New York City 2011

I went to the May Day rally in Union Square Park today.

"We don't want to work eight hours a day."

"American imperialism, blah, blah, blah... "

It was such a beautiful day the plan was to be there for only about an hour to cover the anti-American lunacy.
30 minutes was all I could take.

It was grotesque.
In attendance were the usual supporters of murderers and criminals like Mumia abu Jamal and Lynne Stewart.

It probably hurt the sun to shine on these people.

No respect for our flag.

In the first picture I notice the person wearing what looks like a "commie beret." The only thing missing is the red star. In the 2nd picture those folk are dressed in something very similar to Red Chinese military garb. That alone says a lot.

No mention about the death of Bin Laden? I thought you were a New Yorker.

As Americans they can express these views. If these people were in a Socialist Country they would not be allowed to express their independent views, even as Socialists. Rather they would be forced to stage a scripted demonstration according to Government and arrested if they dare not.

Amazing, there are that many rejects in America!

If all the represented factions of ignorance were to gain any power, they would end up rioting with each other!

Oh, Union Square. Always a source of unintentional entertainment. Thanks for braving this scene.
